== Criticism section ==

@[[User:Vaughan J.|Vaughan J.]], I saw that you reverted my edit to rename the "Criticism" section of this article. I don't think it's a good idea to keep it like that. Firstly because it's rather vague – I think you'll agree that section titles should give the reader some idea of what they're about to read – and secondly because sections named like that (and their cousin, "Controversy" sections) are inherently non-neutral (see also [[WP:CSECTION]]). I think "Allegations of sexism" would capture this article's Criticism section pretty well, since almost all of it is about that. But I'm open to something else, perhaps even "Criticism of lyrics" if you really want to keep the word criticism in the heading. And the "Satanic panic" paragraph isn't remotely categorizable as "criticism"; I would move that to another section regardless. If you're here to dispute the nationality of AC/DC, Angus, Malcolm, Stevie or George, please understand this, This topic has been discussed countless times here and at Angus Young or brother's Malcolm Young, Stevie Young or George Young articles. All brothers were born in Glasgow, Scotland. In 1963 they moved to Sydney, Australia. AC/DC was officially formed in 1973 in Australia. There is a man named Simon Hury in the member timeline listed as "fan." This is ridiculous, he is not a member of the band. JohnnyPStevens (talk) 15:28, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see a Hury in this listicle nor the article whose talk page you're in, what are you talking about? Carlinal (talk) 15:35, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done: Name not in this article. - FlightTime (open channel) 16:29, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What are you talking about...? Hury is not listed in the article at all? ― VAUGHAN J. (t · c) 00:31, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure what you mean. I checked earlier today, and I saw no mention of Simon Hury in the member timeline. HorrorLover555 (talk) 02:24, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification

File:AC-DC timeline.jpg
This image. See on the top, it says Simon Hury, which is listed as "Fan".

Readding this back, so that I could get some of you guys get some clarification. I think he's saying that Hury was in the article because of this image on the right. I'm pretty sure what he's saying is that the image probably needs to be deleted? — VAUGHAN J. (t · c) 10:35, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that the image should be removed to avoid confusion. HorrorLover555 (talk) 13:55, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
JohnnyPStevens went through a weird route and back without linking this image, but I agree it should be deleted. There's no real use for it, and doesn't seem justified with a total unknown that uploaded it. Carlinal (talk) 09:20, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi all, so many of you guys know that on the infobox image has been OL for the past few months. Should we change it to NE, or keep it as OL, or should we use them for the prose? Let me know what you guys think. — VAUGHAN J. (t · c) 00:32, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest you crop the second image if there's any hope of this being changed..... not sure how the top of heads will fly with anyone. Moxy🍁 01:32, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@HorrorLover555, FlightTime, Carlinal, and Shaidar cuebiyar: Any choices? — VAUGHAN J. (t · c) 04:26, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

OL. Since Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd are still officially members, it would be more informative to have an image of the two on the infobox. NE is not the current lineup of AC/DC, but its touring counterpart. If we have a decent enough image of Cliff, Phil and Stevie Young together, that would be ideal for a new infobox image.
