Masamichi Abe (阿部 将道 Abe Masamichi) is a video game director and planner for Nintendo Co., Ltd.

Abe joined Nintendo Co., Ltd., EAD after a successful tenure at Namco Ltd. He is currently working with Nintendo Software Technology Corporation.

He helped develop and direct several titles, including Knukle Heads, Tekken, Tekken 2,Tekken 3 (arcade version) Alpine Racer, Alpine Racer 2 and Alpine Surfer while at Namco. Since joining Nintendo he has helped develop titles such as 1080° Snowboarding, Pikmin and Pikmin 2.[1]

Abe was temporarily transferred to Nintendo Software Technology Corporation in U.S. to aid in the development of Metroid Prime Hunters.
