The Flintshire Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Dee Estuary. The bridge links Flint to Connah's Quay.

The construction cost was £55million[1]. The cost was met by the Welsh Assembly and in the future, maintenance costs are expected to be the responsibility of Flintshire County Council in the future.

The bridge was official opened in 2008 by Queen Elizabeth II.

The bridge carries part of the A548 road. It has been nicknamed 'the bridge to nowhere' by locals[2] and is the largest asymmetric cable-stayed bridge in the whole of Britain.[3]
