The Santa Monica Gang was the first gang to originate in the Westside back in the late 1920s, formerly known as the Santa Monica Tomato Patch Gang. They had given birth to all the surrounding gangs in the area. The gang simply became known as Santa Monica with the creation of the Mexican Mafia in the 1950s. |

Santa Monica 13 Gang is an infamous Mexican American street gang located in West Los Angeles. They reside in the Pico Neighborhood of Santa Monica, which is said to be one of the last remaining ghettos of the Westside due to gentrification. Even though Santa Monica is a Sureño gang, they wear their traditional black bandanas.
History
[1] The Santa Monica Gang was the first gang to originate in the Westside back in the late 1920s, formerly known as the Santa Monica Tomato Patch Gang. They had given birth to all the surrounding gangs in the area. The gang simply became known as Santa Monica with the creation of the Mexican Mafia in the 1950s.

-Little Locos(LLS) Is a small and very active click claiming its turf in the Pico Neighborhood and Lincoln Blvd area. This click is waring with the Venice Gangsters which has provoked many shootings in Santa Monica and Venice in the last 6 months.
The two clicks, Santa Monica 17th Street and Santa Monica 13 Little Locos are often mistaken as two different gangs, but this is not true. They both are clicks of the Santa Monica Gang.
