The Perm nightclub explosion was an explosion that went off in a nightclub named 'the Lame Horse' in Perm, Russia. The blast killed over 100 people who were attending the nightclub, which was celebrating its eight anniversary. The blast was initially blamed on fireworks by a news agency.
According to an emergency services spokesman, most victims died from smoke inhalation.[1]
