Image copyrights

Thanks for uploading Image:Pallas PS.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much, Edwin Stearns | Talk 21:50, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Dear Iss246! You are from New York? Is it possible to provide me with a copy of following? http://clio.cul.columbia.edu:7018/vwebv/holdingsInfo?bibId=5082330

   * Anon. (1799): Obituary of James Bolton. Leeds Mercury or General Advertiser, Saturday, january 19th, vol. 32, no. 1668: p. 3

Holding: Butler Library, 535 West 114th St., New York, NY 10027 I only need a copy of page 3. If You can help me anyhow, I will be very glad and grateful, Kind regards, Doc Taxon (talk) 05:39, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

I would have been able to get what you wanted a month ago but not now. For more than 25 years I taught a biostatistics course for the Dept. of Psychiatry, and by virtue of that appointment had access to all CU's libraries. I took advantage of the library card too. Like Walter Alston of the Dodgers, I had a series of one-year contracts. But alas, I was not renewed on July 1. My library card is no longer operative. I wish I could have helped you.

If you or someone you know knows a Columbia student, that student can have access to the document, and transmit a copy to you. You probably know someone who knows someone who knows someone who is either a student or faculty member at Columbia. I imagine that by the time I have written to you, you will have solved your problem of access. Best wishes. Let me know if you succeeded.Iss246 (talk) 12:27, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
