Amir Taaki is a UK software developer. He is known as the chairman of the Bitcoin Consultancy, as a Bitcoin project developer and for pioneering many open-source projects. In 2010 he established the Bitcoin Consultancy in the UK, where he works on coordinating and developing Bitcoin projects.

Early years

In 2007, Taaki became heavily involved in Crystal Space development under the pseudonym of genjix.[1]. Contributing both artwork and code. He developed a number of free software games and was a participant in the Blender project Yo Frankie. He was a 2007 notable speaker at the GC in Leipzig and released an SDL collision library SDL_Collide in addition to his work on Crystal Space.

Amir co-founded the Bitcoin Consultancy, a group focused on bitcoin project development.[4]

Aside from developing Crystal Space, he has worked on other game projects[5] and SDL_Collide[6].
