George Ţucudean (born 30 April 1991 in Arad) is a Romanian football player, currently under contract with Liga I club Dinamo Bucureşti. He plays as a striker.

Club career

UTA Arad

Ţucudean started his career playing for his hometown club UTA Arad.[1] He stayed at UTA for two years before joining Liga I squad Dinamo Bucureşti.[2]

Dinamo Bucureşti

He made his debut at his new team on April 1st 2011 in a game against Universitatea Cluj.[3] Although verry young, Ţucudean made an imediate impact at the Bucharest team by scoring 4 goals from 13 apearances in the second half of the 2010–11 season.[4]

In his first full season for the team, he made 30 apearances allround and scored 4 goals, also making his UEFA Europa League debut.[5]

On 14 July 2012, Ţucudean scored two goals in the 2012 Romanian Supercup against CFR Cluj,[6] in a game that Dinamo Bucureşti won at Penalty shoot-out to claim the throphy.[7] He was declared man of the match for his performance.[8] On Dinamo's first home game of the 2012–13 Liga I played against CSMS Iaşi on the 29th of July, Ţucudean had a magistral performance, scoring four goals and offering one assist in just 52 minutes of play.[9][10]

International career

Ţucudean is an former Romania U–17 and Romania U–19 international, having played 3 and 5 games respectively.[11] He is a current Romania U–21 international with two goals under his belt so far.
