Thank you for the rebuke, and for the gentleness of it. I am myself an explorer and historian of the Mammoth Cave system, as well as a sometime Wikipedia editor. Hovey is indeed a notable figure in the history of 19th century American travel writers, particularly with an eye towards American caves, but I acknowledge that my initial article did not convey that. I will work on the draft as you suggested: it should not be difficult to amass sufficient citations to satisfy the requirement of notability. The IP User mentioned above is engaged in unconstructive vandalisms. You sent him a warning but he is vandalising in full swing, especially in Bangladesh-related articles. Just 2 hours ago, he vandalised a page. Please block this IP user from engaging in further unconstructive edits in Wikipedia. Ppt2003 (talk) 17:37, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ppt2003, thanks for the Information. I have warned him again. If he is vandalising again he will be blocked. CommanderWaterford (talk) 17:42, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My very first article Gig Performer

Hi CommanderWaterford,

I'm an IT specialist and a guitarist, and would like to contribute on pages in these respective fields. When I wrote about Gig Performer, I researched similar topics, such as: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guitar_Rig https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MainStage_(software) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonic_Visualiser etc. etc.

I wanted to maintain this simple and informative style: quick overview, basic features, info box, and references from magazines, independent authors and their documentation. This topic is surely notable, because software is used for live gigging among many musicians, i.e. Chris Broderick from In Flames. For some magazines I don't have live preview (they must be purchased, no preview). https://www.musictech.net/news/magazine/musictech-207-how-to-set-up-your-studio-for-online-collaboration/

I don't see any problems with my topic, because I used existing pages as a guideline to form a simple article, and everybody can contribute in future.

Npudar, well I had a short look on your draft and as you can read from the Reviewers Spicy comment it is by far too advertising. Have a close look at Wikipedia:Neutral point of view - Wikipedia - if you need any further help it would be more easy to ask in the Teahouse, I will sent you an invitation. @CommanderWaterford: You're most welcome. Twofingered Typist (talk) 12:59, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi CommanderWaterford,

I'm really grateful for your comment. I'll do everything you say to make this article better. Can you please tell me which sentences are problematic? I've edited my article and removed extra adjectives which might be considered as advertizing. Can you please help me out, this version is the best I can currently come up with.

Thanks, I'll notify Spicy, as well. I'll highly appreciate all the help I can get.

Kind regards --Npudar (talk) 13:41, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Good job, thank you very much although next time would be perhaps better to do fewer edits on the article. ;) CommanderWaterford (talk) 18:00, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. I do as much or as little work as I think necessary when I c/e an article. This one needed a fair bit of work to knock into shape for the GAN review. I also tend to edit paragraph-by-paragraph, which makes it easy to track down any problems with my edits and avoids edit conflicts. I don't see your username in the edit history but good luck with your planned GA nom anyhow. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 02:31, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
