The Kokomo BobKats are an American professional basketball team based in Kokomo, Indiana, and a member of The Basketball League (TBL). For the 2021 season, their home games are played at Memorial Gymnasium in Kokomo.[1]
History
On August 11, 2020 it was announced that Kokomo, Indiana would be awarded a franchise for the upcoming 2021 TBL season.[2] On September 4, 2020, Evelyn Magley, CEO of The Basketball League (TBL), announced a new franchise called the Kokomo BobKats owned by Jeff & Sondi Beeler and Mark & Kristin Jansen.[3] [4] On October 30, 2020 the team announced that two-time NBA Champion, Cliff Levingston would be the team's head coach.[5]
