Tere Bin (transl. Without You) is a romantic Pakistani drama television series produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi under the banner 7th Sky Entertainment. Directed by Siraj ul Haq, it aired from 28 December 2022 on Geo TV. It stars Wahaj Ali and Yumna Zaidi, and gained popularity rapidly due to the lead couple’s chemistry and its gripping storyline.[1]

Plot

The story is set in Hyderabad, where an angry handsome looking Murtasim Shahnawaz Khan, the head of the village, is strolling through the fields to inspect the crops when a farmer informs him of the threats they are facing from Malik Mukhtar, a rival in the village, and his son, Malik Zubair. Murtasim is responsible for ensuring the safety of the villagers and becomes incensed upon hearing this news. Malik tries to create problems over land owned by khan Murtasim, leading to a confrontation where Murtasim threatens to kill Malik's son, fueling the rivalry further.

Meanwhile, in Karachi, Meerab Waqas Ahmad is a young and ambitious girl who aspires to become a lawyer like her father. Her world revolves around her parents, and she stands against social injustices. Meerab is pampered by her family and friends, which gives her a sense of pride and self-worth.

In Hyderabad, Murtasim's mother, Salma Begum, is respected among the villagers, and Murtasim's younger cousin, Haya, is deeply in love with him, to the point of an unhealthy obsession. Murtasim is aware of Haya's feelings but considers her as his younger sister and rejects her advances.

Meerab's father's friend, Anwar Khan, informs Murtasim's mother about Meerab's ambition to study law, which she disapproves of due to her conservative mentality. She sends Murtasim and Anwar to Karachi to convince Meerab's father to forbid her from pursuing law.

On Meerab's birthday, her college friends insist on throwing a party, and Rohail plans to propose to her. While on their way to Karachi, Murtasim sees Meerab manhandling a man whom she claims was abusive to his wife, angering Murtasim, who drags her away from the scene. Meerab tries to convince her father that she is not at fault, but he refuses to listen.

Murtasim suggests getting Meerab married as soon as possible to resolve the situation. Meerab goes to Salma Begum's mansion to apologize, and Salma announces the alliance between Murtasim and Meerab at her birthday party, causing a scene. Meerab finds out that she is the daughter of Anwar Khan who did not accept her because of her mother's death on Meerab's birth. this truth makes meerAB shattered that her whole life was a lie. After all these scenarios and a beautiful soul-touching masjid scene, she agrees to marry Khan Murrtasim. but on the nikkah day, she makes Murtasim sign a contract that there will be no relation between them as husband and wife.
