"Natural Disaster Survival" is a round-based survival experience in Roblox created by the user @Stickmasterluke. It was an empty place slot from March 2008 to around November 2011 when the experience's name was updated to "Disaster Testing". The full experience was released on December 4, 2011.[1][2][3] The game has been positively compared to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.[citation needed]

Gameplay

In the game the player must survive a verity of natural disasters, such as earthquakes, tornados, tsunami, Wildfires, lightning, and floods.[4]

Reception

Christian Vaz of PCGamesN rated the game as one of the best Roblox games.[5] The real world disaster response advice that the game was seen to be imparting was criticised by Bevan Findlay of University of Auckland. This included advice to get "outside in the midst of an earthquake" or sheltering inside to avoid tornados, concluding that "wrong advice ondisaster preparedness needs to be avoided"[6]
