Natural Disaster Survival is a round-based survival community-created game in Roblox created by the user @Stickmasterluke. The full experience was released on December 4, 2011.[1][2] The game has been positively compared to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.[citation needed]

Gameplay

In the game the player must survive a verity of natural disasters, such as earthquakes, tornados, tsunami, Wildfires, lightning, and floods.[3] The winner is the player who survives to the end of the round.[4]

Reception

Christian Vaz of PCGamesN rated the game as one of the best Roblox games.[5] Zackery Cuevas of Android Central felt that the game was "perfect for a large group of friends" and was "simple and engaging".[4]

The real world disaster response advice that the game was seen to be imparting was criticised by Bevan Findlay of University of Auckland. This included advice to get "outside in the midst of an earthquake" or sheltering inside to avoid tornados, concluding that "wrong advice ondisaster preparedness needs to be avoided"[6]

Squirrels

There have been multiple reported sightings recently of multiple fat squirrels roaming the maps of this game.
