Wamndering Off Topic

[edit]

The topic is "Trunnion" not cannons, or siege weapons. There is a great deal of information in this topic which belongs elsewhere. I did not want to start editing - especially when there is so much that needs to be cut and pasted to a different topic - or simply deleted.

I am not sure if, when, how,... all this needs to be reviewed or suggested, before actual revisions are made. If there is a "topic monitor" that overseas this listing, please respond and let me know what you suggest. Thank you. -Tom (tapwestport ` aol ` com) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tapalmer99 (talkcontribs) 17:56, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Steam Locomotive

Just how many of these have had oscillating cylinders?Bill F 02:17, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To answer my own question, as the only steam locomotives to have oscillating cylinders are toys, while oscillating cylinders were common in some other types of steam engine, particularly early marine engines, I have altered the link to steam engine. Bill F 17:00, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
