The author should include New Zealand schools in the article as well, since they feature in almost every single school in New Zealand.

tuck shops in canada
It should perhaps be noted that any number of summer camps across Canada use the term "tuck shop" to refer to the place where children can "buy" (or receive, with the cost charged to their parents account) candy, cholocate, soft drinks, other food items, camp t-shirts and the like.
- True, one camp in Algonquin had a tuck shop open once each session. Merosonox 05:58, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
- Ah yes, I wondered where I knew that term from. Summer camp. The one I attended was in southern Ontario. 74.101.212.73 02:08, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
tuck shops in India
While a dying trend, many old schools in India also have Tuck shops. While the text maintains that tuck shops can be found in the former British empire; the "Do you know?" on today's (Feb 1, 2006)homepage reads as if this is a feature unique to UK and Australia.220.227.249.162 10:56, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
School canteens in the UK do not charge cash
"When the tuck shop is in a school, it is frequently the only place (other than the school canteen) where monetary transactions can be made." - not true. School canteens do not (or historically did not) charge cash. You brought in your "Dinner money" every Monday and handed it to the teacher. You did not pay in the canteen.
