Renzo Angles (born in 1979 in Arequipa, Peru[1]) is a distinguished computer scientist specializing in graph databases and the Semantic Web.

Early Life, Education, and Academic Career

Renzo Angles was born in Arequipa, Peru. He completed his Bachelor in Systems Engineering at Universidad Católica de Santa María in Arequipa at the end of 2000. With a strong passion for advanced studies, Angles moved to Santiago de Chile in July 2002 to pursue postgraduate education. In August 2009, Renzo Angles earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Universidad de Chile. Concurrently, he secured a full-time professorship at Universidad de Talca in Chile, where he has made significant contributions to the academic community[2].

During 2013, Angles enhanced his research experience through postdoctoral research at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands. This period was pivotal in expanding his expertise and research network within Europe[3].
