Volodymyr Dantes (Template:Lang-uk, real name: Volodymyr Ihorovych Hudkov, Template:Lang-uk; born 28 June 1988, Kharkiv) is a Ukrainian singer, TV and radio personality, an ex-member of the band «ДіО.фільми» until the band's end in 2015. After that started his solo career under the name of Dantes.

Biography

Early years

Born in a family of a policeman[1]. Attended Kharkiv's school № 36. Graduated from a music school in Kharkiv and studied economics at the Kharkiv Polytechnic institute (specialty — "Financial management of business").

In November of 2008 together with Vadym Oliinyk won in "Fabryka zirok-2", forming a duet "Dantes & Oliinyk". Borys Bronshtein and Natalia Mohylevska became their producers with the centre "Talant Group". On 4 March 2010 they released their debut album "Mne uzhe 20" (Russian: Мне уже 20, romanizedMne uzhe dvadzat', lit.'I'm 20 already')".

After the band ended their existence in April of 2015, Volodymyr chose to continue as a a TV and radio personality.

On Radio

Dantes is a radio personailty of a Ukrainian radio station "Lux FM"[2].

З жовтня 2012 року веде програму «Ближче до тіла» разом з Вікторією Батуі на Новому каналі[3]. 2014—2015 — ведучий кулінарного тревел-шоу «Їжа, я люблю тебе» на каналі П'ятниця![4] З 11 жовтня 2015 року один із тренерів дитячого талант-шоу «Маленькі гіганти» телеканалу «1+1».[5] Був запрошеною зіркою у четвертому сезоні шоу «Ліга сміху» у 2018 році та тренером джокером у п'ятому сезоні того ж шоу у 2019 році. 2021 рік — суддя шоу “Маскарад” на телеканалі “1+1”. 2022 - 2023 роки — ведучий шоу “Я люблю Україну” на телеканалі “ТЕТ”.

On television

Dantes often starred on various television programs on Ukrainian and a few Russian TV channels.

Since October 2012, he has been hosting the "Blyzhche do tila" program together with Victoria Batui on the Novyi Kanal[3]. In 2014–2015 Dantes was the host of the culinary travel show "Yizha, ya lyublyu tebe" on the "Friday!" Russian TV channel. [4] Since 11 October 2015 Dantes was one of the coaches of the children's talent show "Malenki hihanty" on the 1+1 TV channel.[5 ] He was a guest star in the fourth season of the show "Liga Smikhu" in 2018 and a coach-joker in the fifth season of the same show in 2019. In 2021 was a judge of the show "Masquerade" on "1+1", and in 2022–2023 was host of the show "Ya lyublyu Ukrayinu" on the "TET" TV channel.

In 2021 Dantes started his first YouTube show “Stand up 380”, in which he aims to introduce interesting Ukrainian stand-up comedians and to popularise Ukrainian

Between 2020 and 2022 Dantes hosted the project "Mama, I do business", the purpose of which is to talk about Ukrainian startups, introduce them to their founders, and show how local business develops.

2022-2023 — the host of the travel show "Mom, I drive cars", the goal: to deliver cars from Europe to Ukraine for the military. According to Volodymyr, during the program, "people, businesses, programs, volunteer hubs that continue to do something cool for Ukraine" are filmed.

2023 — host of the "House of Culture" project, which was filmed in the de-occupied territories. The goal: to remind and revive the culture. In each issue, Volodymyr and an invited guest organize a concert, creating a revival in the houses of culture.

У 2021 році випустив перший сольний альбом «Твоя любимая музыка»[6]. Among Dantes, multiple Ukrainian musical artists Dorofeeva, Jerry Heil, Potap, Maxim Fadeev had their autorship.

In 2022 Dantes released singles "Obiymy", "Not a refugee", "Tilky my".

In 2023, he released the single "Chuyesh" and the second solo album "KITY", which included the new tracks "Chuyesh", "Kyty", "We are not one people", "Being with you", "Lullaby" and the translation of the single "Girl" Olya", "Sasha", "Sad Dances".

Personal life

On 8 July 2015 Volodymyr married Vryema i Steklo's member Nadiya Dorofeeva. They got divorced in 2022.[7] Starting from September 2022 Volodymyr is in a relationship with Dasha Katsurina.
