The Scream was a Los Angeles-based hard rock band that originally began as a project between the former members of Racer X in the late 1980s. The Scream went on to record two albums, although only one was published by a record label. After being faced with a failed record label deal in 1993, the band broke up. The ex-members of The Scream (excluding Walt Woodward III) went on to form a brief musical project with drummer Abe Labriel, Jr. called DC-10.
