Location of Shirosato in Ibaraki Prefecture

Shirosato (城里町, Shirosato-machi) is a town located in Higashiibaraki District, Ibaraki, Japan.

The town was formed on February 1, 2005 from the merger of the town of Johoku, village of Katsura, and (from Nishiibaraki District) the village of Nanakai.

As of October 1, 2000 population data, the town has an estimated population of 23,007 and a density of 142 persons per km². The total area is 161.73 km².
