Your vfd on Britney Spears
Please do not just add a vote for deletion tag on a Wikipedia page without first discussing any issues on the article talk page. deletion policy explains the sequence of several steps to follow before a vfd. Thank you!. -- Sitearm | Talk 03:04, 2005 August 21 (UTC)
- First and last vandalism in this site in those 2 above comments. That was my first 2 Edits and I was a clueless newbie back then. Now that Im not i know I wont make those stupid mistakes again . --Aranda56 00:40, 22 September 2005 (UTC)
Wow!
You are one user on the ball for speedies! Keep up the good work! --HappyCamper 05:34, 28 August 2005 (UTC)
incomplete VFD?
On August 20th you added a VFD tag to Ardzruni (I think) but it doesn't seem to have steps 2 and 3 as specified at WP:VFD. It is hard for me to complete it for you as I don't know what criteria you were going to specify to justify VFD. If you want me to finish it for you just drop me a message with the justification. Otherwise you can finish it or remove the VFD tag if you no longer believe it should go to VFD. I apologize if you are not the person who added this tag. RJFJR 04:01, September 2, 2005 (UTC)
- I noticed the same thing and I just added it to the AfD list without commenting on your reasons which are unknown to me. You can find the discussion on whether it should be deleted here. Caerwine 20:05, 2 September 2005 (UTC)
AfD listings
AfD subpages need to include a header at the start, like so; otherwise, they blend into the AfD for the previous article on the daily pages. —Cryptic (talk) 04:19, 3 September 2005 (UTC)
Ty for telling me sorry for the late response :) --Aranda56 05:24, 11 September 2005 (UTC)
Stephane Aubin
A reasonable case can be made for deleting Stephane Aubin for lack of notability. However, there is a *claim* of notability. So, regadless of the merit of the claim, a speedy delete is not called for in my opinion. I recommend you nominate the article for a regular vote-for-deletion instead. I removed the speedy tag placed there. --rob 10:13, 5 September 2005 (UTC)
- I put it up for vfd: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stephane Aubin. This will give others a fair chance to weigh-in. --rob 10:39, 5 September 2005 (UTC)
Queens Place
I think this was absolutely uncalled for to tag my article under Wikipedia's deletion policy considering that it exists within the same vicinity as the Queens Center Mall if that would mean deleting it, that would mean you wrould have to tag Queens Center for deleation as well. There are listings and articles that acknowledge its existance.
In other words, why does this article considered for deletion?
Queen Place Mall is just a large shopping center with a Best Buy and a Target with a few restarants and there are hundreds of those shopping centers around so it is Non-Notable. Queen Center is a regular mall also but with Macys and Sears with is a real Mall but it is a stub and needs fixing but that is more Notable that other shopping center. Not all Shopping Centers should have an article only malls with Key Department stores like Macys. Sorry if that upseted you but its just so non notable. Ty for your consern : ) --Aranda56 05:44, 11 September 2005 (UTC)
I realize that there were strong feelings on both sides with respect to the outcome of the AfD for this article, now located at Alternative theories regarding Hurricane Katrina. I would like to assure those who expressed concerns about the content, tone, and potential for degradation of this article that I intend for it to continue to exist only as long as is necessary to draw the contributions of fringe theorists away from the more substantial Hurricane Katrina articles. Once interest in this topic dies down, I'll quietly trim and merge this information into the appropriate general-topic articles. In the interim, I will carefully watch this page to prevent it from being abused, and I will continue to work towards making this article NPOV, properly sourced, and useful to those seeking an accurate record of the hysterics that so often follows catastrophe. Cheers. -- BDAbramson talk 00:49, 14 September 2005 (UTC)

Regarding your contribution List Of Sports Busts, this seems to tread into pov territory. We ought to put it in for a check. Thanks. --Jtalledo (talk) 02:31, 15 September 2005 (UTC)
Alright i will accept if u place it in VFD Not really my Best Article My first Article I Created when I was back a newbie --Aranda56 02:34, 15 September 2005 (UTC)
I recently found Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Black aces in which you voted keep. Around a day after Black aces I created Black Aces unaware the other page was there but my has a little more content except the links. I need you change your vote to merge both articles together. Ty --Aranda56 00:39, 16 September 2005 (UTC)
- Hi. I don't think there's a problem. Once the AfD completes, you can just be WP:BOLD and merge the articles. I'll change my vote, but it's not really necessary. Pburka 01:26, 16 September 2005 (UTC)
- Sorry for the dealy in responding, but I've been out of town. Like Pburka, I don't think changing my vote in this case is necessary, but I've done it anyway. -- llywrch 19:07, 19 September 2005 (UTC)
Nandesuka's RfA
Thanks for supporting my RfA. I'll work hard to try to live up to the confidence you're showing in me. Nandesuka 01:05, 17 September 2005 (UTC)
Ann Bidwell
Hi, Aranda56! I've recently made some edits to the Ann Bidwell article, including some additional information that may indicate that she is notable in her own right, rather than just as the wife of John Bidwell. You might still determine that she is non-notable, but I just wanted to call your attention to the updates. Thanks, LiniShu 06:35, 17 September 2005 (UTC)
Howdy -- just wanted you to know that I got off my butt and added additional material to my article on Sophia Michahelles. The additions are summarized in the deletion "vote" space, if you'd like to take a look.
I hope it now merits a place in WP, and, if you agree, invite you to remove it from the AfD page.
Thanks for "pushing" me to get some actual work done!

Regan/Doral High
Hello! I see you place an AFD tag on this school. Your reasons are valid but I still believe the school should be kept because for one, it's notable since it had a huge controversy over its building site which led to reveal corrptuon amongst school board members, it is a reliever school for grossly overcrowded Miami Springs Senior High School; the school is "opened" per say, since this school year, 9th graders will attend "Reagan/Doral High School" placed in the portable classrooms at Doral Middle School until construction on the High School is complete. Also, what's the point of deleting this article just to have to create it again when the school does oficially open? I hope you can reconsider. PRueda29 01:25, 23 September 2005 (UTC)

My RfA
JAranda-- Thank you for your kind words and support concerning my RfA. Although it looks like it will amount to "no concensus", but that's okay. I'll live to be nominated another day. Once again, thanks. --Lord Voldemort (Dark Mark) 13:33, 29 September 2005 (UTC)
==Who's RfA== Thank you for supporting my masters RfA. He appreciates your support and comments and looks forward to better serving Wikipedia the best he can. Of course I will be doing all of the real work. He would have responded to you directly, but he is currently out of town, and wanted to thank you asap. Thanks again. --Who's mop?¿? 20:54, 30 September 2005 (UTC)

Really?
In my Adminship debate, you said "I thought he was a admin already".
You did? Really? I'm... flattered.
What made you think that? (I'm also perpetually curious, you see.) DS 00:02, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
I see that lol I normally come across your good edits and I was thinking that u were probaly a admin Thats Why Ty for asking --JAranda | yeah 00:15, 3 October 2005 (UTC)

Oppose Neutral on BillyH, Support on Nicholas?
Hi, I'm wondering about your decision to vote no on BillyH partly due to his "low number of edits", and your support on NicholasT despite his 800 edits. While I do believe in making your own decisions (Honestly, I really do! :-) ) I'd like you to reconsider your vote on BillyH.
Nicholas has 800 edits, and has been here for 10 months. 10 months from now, he is on pace to have 1,600 edits.
BillyH has been here for 19 months and has 2,500 edits.
Much thanks! :-) --WikiFanaticTalk Contribs 21:02, 3 October 2005 (CDT)
- I didn't vote oppose first of all. I voted Neutral for the main reason of less than 100 Wikipedia Namespace Edits which is a key for adminship in my opinion while Nicholas is a peace-maker that should be rewarded adminship quickly.Forget my 2,500 edit mark u could cross it out is tha namespace that conserns me and this comment is my 994th edit in just over a month by the way. Thanks for your consern --JAranda | yeah 02:09, 4 October 2005 (UTC)
Stressed Out?
In the spirit of Esperanza, what can I do to help? Here's a start: . Don't let stress get you down. Wikiholidays aren't necessarily a bad thing. On the contrary, sometimes it helps to step away, and take everything in context. If you'd like to chat it out, just let me know. Cheers, Bratschetalk | Esperanza 04:12, 4 October 2005 (UTC)

Comment to 'Articles for deletion/Thunderbolt (band)'
Regarding Articles for deletion/Thunderbolt (band)
The initial entry could not be finished yesterday, hence the entry being only the virtually non-informative stub for a day. However, the article in its current form (and will be updated as soon as the next record title is announced) is well worth preserving :) There has also been a remark that the 'mark for speedy deletion' tag within the article was once removed (yes, I know... BIG no-no), however that was an unintentional mishap due to database update lag (similar double commit, and me not paying proper attention to the error message before resubmitting).
