Chloe Lane (formerly Black) is a fictional character on the American NBC soap opera Days of our Lives. Chloe has been portrayed by Nadia Bjorlin from 1999 to 2005 with some breaks between appearances, and from 2007 to the present.
Introduction
In foster care for the early part of her life, Chloe discovers that Nancy Wesley is her biological mother. It is ultimately revealed that Nancy's husband Dr. Craig Wesley is Chloe's father, Nancy having given Chloe up for adoption without telling Craig. Chloe becomes romantically involved with Philip Kiriakis and later marries Brady Black.
Return
Chloe returned in November 2007 without Brady. She at first tried to forget about Brady by almost sleeping with old love Philip but they later become friends again while Chloe searched for Brady, which led to a few romantic moments. After finding where Brady was and getting divorced, Chloe decided to move on and started a friends with benefits deal with Philip.
Although Chloe and Philip have a deal with each other, it is clear that Chloe has become jealous of a new flame in his life, Morgan Hollingsworth. The distress over kisses and romances between Morgan and Phillip has allowed for Chloe to feel isolated and alone in Salem, as everyone is against each other. She turns to Philip's brother Lucas Roberts for support as he is currently going through problems with his ex-wife, Samantha. Chloe and Lucas "made love" in the elevator at her hotel. Sami is furious with Chloe for starting a relationship with Lucas and for "ditching" Brady. But Chloe has pointed out that Sami has never cared for Brady and that Sami is the one to blame for Chloe and Lucas's relationship for "playing Lucas and EJ like puppets".
With Sami currently hiding in the witness protection program, Lucas and Chloe's relationship has bloomed. Chloe has also made a temporary truce with Kate Roberts, who isn't fond of Chloe for allegedly "breaking Phillip's heart by being with Lucas", because of Kate's cancer. Chloe has even encouraged Kate because Chloe knows how hard it is. Recently, Dr. Daniel Jonas confided in Chloe that he always got too involved in his patients' recovery. He didn't want Kate to see his agitation. Chloe promised to keep his secret.
Chloe's ex-husband, Brady has returned to Salem. The two have made amends and found closure to their messy relationship.
On December 1, 2008, Lucas proposed to Chloe and she accepted. It was revealed on December 4, 2008 that Chloe was the only match for Kate, who needed a bone marrow transplant, despite the fact that Chloe herself had had one in the past. Kate, of course, was less than pleased, given the fact that all of her family and even Melanie had been tested. Chloe is currently cheating on Lucas with Dr. Daniel Jonas.
