Guggenheim Partners, LLC is a privately held, diversified financial services firm that engages in investment banking, capital markets services, investment management, and investment advisory. The firm is headquartered in Chicago and New York with offices throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Guggenheim employs over 800 professionals located in 20 cities around the world with principal offices in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, London, Dublin, Geneva, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Mumbai. [1] The firm's executive chairman is Alan D. Schwartz.[2]

In 2007, it was reporterdly considering an investment in a power plant in Israel.[3]

In 2009, it recruited a senior equity trader, Kenneth Savio, the former cohead of trading and sales at Bear Stearns.[4]
