“War of Internet Addiction” (Chinese:网瘾战争)is an online video, which is a satire on the Chinese government’s attempt to “harmonize” China’s Internet with forced installations of Green Dam Youth Escort and the travails of Chinese World of Warcraft players over the last several months.




Main Characters(Real and fictional)

  • Kannimei, fictional, leader of rebel WOW players.
  • Yang Yongxin (Uncle Yang)[1], is a 46-year-old psychiatrist Shandong Province, who was reported to have use electric shock therapy on young Chinese so called Internet addicts.
