"You're a Jerk"
Song

"You're a Jerk" is a song by the duo New Fagz from their studio album Skinny Jeans and a Mic

Recording

New Boyz made this song at Ben J’s house and recorded their vocals in a closet. Ben's mother also contributed to this track.[1] Ben J of the New Boyz describes this song as its first dance song.[2] The original song samples "Scotty" by Fabo of D4L.

Music video

The video, directed by Matt Alonzo, starts with people jerkin'. The scene then cuts to Legacy (Dominic) in bed with Indigo UnChained (formerly know as Indigo Vanity). Then, Legacy gets a text message reading "You're a jerk". It then cuts to more people dancing on the street. Tyga and Paul Wall make cameos in the video. The video contains dancing by popular jerkin' crews UCLA Jerk Kings, The Ranger$ and Action Figures. The leaked and the video version of the song samples "Scotty" by Fabo of D4L, however the sample was removed from the single version because of copyright issues. The video ranked at #40 on BET's Notarized: Top 100 Videos of 2009 countdown.
