Removal of photo

Hi. Regarding your removal of the photo from the Amber Benson article, it is relevant to her writing career, which is why I put it in that particular section. It is not to "promote" the store, any more than any of the other hundreds of pics taken at book signings, festival or comic book conventions, or for that matter, any more than the other two pics are "promoting" Buffy. The caption is merely descriptive, nothing more. Please don't remove it without a valid rationale. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 03:58, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is the image as you posted it really didn't enhance the article at all. The size of Benson's image in the photo was so small that even at 300px it made no impact at all -- and, in fact, was hard to see. Therefore, I've replaced it with a version cropped down to Benson alone. It's still not a faublous photo -- she's bent over the table -- and doesn't really tell the reader anything they don't already know (that writers sign books), but it's an acceptable addition to the article, whereas your original was not. ANI Thread

I just marked it resolved.. its just going to off topic discussions; the user is just a newbie who hasn't gotten the whole AGF thing quite yet. Just wanted to give a heads-up Tommy! [message] 06:58, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thanks. Beyond My Ken (talk) 06:59, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedian demographics

Here, Ken, Beyond My, is a Nov/Dec 2009 story from Boston Review that gives these stats. I have a link to it at the top of my user page. Haven't read the story since it was first published, so I don't recall what else is in it. It looks longer than it is because of the comments section at the end; there's a big red pull-quote about a quarter of the way down, and I'm sure the source for these stats is explained somewhere in the text. Oh, sorry. I dashed off this note so quickly I didn't see your notice about responding on my talk page. Cynwolfe (talk) 04:08, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No prob - answered on your talk page. Beyond My Ken (talk) 06:25, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
When you get a chance, I'd like to know what you thought, particularly of the implications of the typical editor profile. Cynwolfe (talk) 17:49, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Will do. I started reading it last night, but had to put it aside. I don't think I'll have time to get back to it for 10 hours or so. Beyond My Ken (talk) 19:12, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

user comments at ANI

I just saw and wanted to thank you for requesting an explanation for that users unexplained comments against me at ANi, very strange, I have had a quick look through their edit history to see where it came from and will investigate more when I have a little free time, anyways...Thanks. I thought it was ironic that the comment had to do with making accusations without diffs, and contained a vague accusation against you with no diff, and no evidence within the thread of what was being referred to. Beyond My Ken (talk) 19:20, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello dick

I normally don't read comments on my page and for the record you completely missed my point. Also FUCK OFF', don't think for a second I am as polite as I may seem.--Az81964444 (talk) 04:12, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
