Sydney Water is a corporation owned by the Government of New South Wales that provides drinking water, wastewater and some stormwater services to Sydney, Illawarra and the Blue Mountains.

Sydney Water buys bulk water from the Sydney Catchment Authority, most of the water come from Warragamba Dam, and it treats the water so it meets the quality requirments for drinking water. Water is distributed via 260 service reservoirs, 152 pumping stations and 20,867 kilometres of water mains. The corporation is planning to buils a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant in Sydney to icrease the supply of freshwater to the city.

Sydney Water also treats sewerage, wastewater and stormwater.
