Hi Metzerly, I've come across your name a few times on labour related articles, and I thought I'd mention Wikiproject Organized Labour to you. It's fairly new, and might be of interest. Cheers. --Bookandcoffee 10:55, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
Unions in Latin America
Hello, and thanks for all your work on labor unions in Latin America, two topics in which Wikipedia is currently deficient. I just want to ask you to take a minute and look at Wikipedia:Naming conventions, which states that the names of foreign-language organizations should be translated to English for the article's title. I usually just make the Spanish-language name a redirect to the main page. I only mention it because it ends up being a lot of work to move pages afterwards because of all the redirects. Just something to look out for. Thanks again for your work.--Rockero420 04:01, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
- I added the union infobox to the Authentic Labor Front page. After I downloaded the "historia", I was having trouble accessing their site (it wasn't loading properly), so I couldn't go to actualidades...couldn't determine who is currently heading them. Also, I put the DF as their headquarters. I wasn't sure about that-- all I saw was that they have offices in many major cities. I was just kind of assuming they had a main office in the DF. So if you know or can find out, I'd appreciate it. Also, I was thinking of moving Charro (Mexican politics) to Charrismo. Any thoughts?--Rockero420 00:12, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
Shachtman
You've done some excellent work there. I really think you should be very proud of that entry. 'Deformed workers states' are those established through the post-war extention of the bureaucratic dictatorships. This position was developed at the third and fourth world congresses of the Fourth International. --Duncan 17:51, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

- As you can see there is an open mediation case involving user: Jacrosse. Acute problems may be referred to WP:ANI. I hope it all comes out well and will be watching. Let me know if I can help. I am an admin, not that it matters. Cheers, -Will Beback 08:20, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
- I've had the same problem with Jacrosse removing disputed tags on Neoconservatism without so much as an edit summary much less an explanatory note on the talk page. It's infuriating.—thames 14:25, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
AIV vs VIP
Hi Wpzeitgeist. I noticed you added an entry to Vandalism in Progress. That page is only for very specific cases, as described by the page's guidelines. Your alert would be better placed on Administrator intervention against vandalism (WP:AIV), where it will usually be processed within minutes. Many alerts that are incorrectly placed on Vandalism in Progress are never dealt with, simply because they become old before an administrator gets to them. Thanks for your efforts. :) --lightdarkness (talk) 21:15, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
French Turn
I've been assigned to moderate the dispute on the French turn. See you there. Thesocialistesq 05:56, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

I saw your comment just now. I can totally understand your exaspiration. I've also walked away from numb-head disputes like this, and find that things have a way of working themselves out. On the other hand, I really think this can be overcome. Are you still on Yahoo? I dropped you a line there. --Duncan 19:17, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

- He seems to be in remission here and on neo-conservatism, so I will wait to see how he behaves over the next week. The problem is that he thrives on attention. If he reverts then I will go to arbiration over all his Shachtman-themed edits. The other contributors on neo-conservatism also seem to think he needs to better learn how to work consesnually. --Duncan 11:35, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
