Laurel and Hardy

Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, a comedy duo formed in 1926 who appeared in silent movies and later in talkies. Notable films include Block Heads, Pardon Us and Way Out West (which includes the famous song On the Trail of the Lonesome Pine). Their famous tune is the Cuckoo Song.

Stan Laurel (1890-1965) was born Arthur Stanley Jefferson in Ulverston, Lancashire, England.

Oliver Hardy (1892-1957) born near Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
