"18 til I Die"
Song

"18 til I Die" is a rock song written by Bryan Adams, and Robert John "Mutt" Lange for Adams seventh studio recorded album 18 til I Die (1996).[1] The song's musical-style and production were heavily inspired by rock from the 1980s, and its lyrics are about youth. Released as a single in the UK in April 1997, it peaked at number 22 in the charts.[2] Three songs recorded live at Adams' Wembley Stadium concert on July 27, 1996 were included on the single release.[3] In the lyrics, Adams sings "Someday I'll be eighteen, going on fifty-five". Adams turned 55 in November 2014.
