HISTORY WILL ABSOLVE ME.
WIKIPEDIA IS FASCISM.
I unblocked you per discussion in WP:AN/I. Thanks Jaranda wat's sup 18:22, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
When you left, you had a lot of subpages deleted. Let me know the names of any you want restored, and I will gladly do so. - TexasAndroid 18:26, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, I happened to be reading WP:AN/I, and I want to welcome you back first of all. Second of all, I want to ask you to NEVER vandalize again. Thirdly, I would like for you to help me with some articles of mine, seeing that you have worked with military history before. The reason I am asking is that I saw you work at Military history of Mexico, and you seem to be one of the few Wikipedians envolved in Latin American military history. I would also like to know what languages you know, so I can ask for some translation help. The Military history of Brazil is a article I have been working on, and I think you'd be interested. Glad to see you back
, and I must say you owe the community a fairly large apology, maybe if you become an admin, or something, you could help fight vandalism, to balance the amount you put in. I am not saying this to be mean, but it is just a general suggestion.I also think people should monitor this account. NOVO-REI 18:37, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- And nice sig. Could someone inform me as to how much vandalism this user commited? NOVO-REI 18:40, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the message and barnstar, but note that I didn't actually do any unblocking. It was Jaranda who did that. :-) --Deathphoenix ʕ 19:11, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the barnstar as well. You didn't need to though, remember, you prepaid ;-). Prodego talk 19:14, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Restored pages
I don't have a list of your deleted subpages. Let me know their names, and I will gladly restore them. - TexasAndroid 19:25, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- Found them. First time I had to go digging through the deletion log, but I was able to find the list of all that I deleted a couple of months back, so they are all now restored. - TexasAndroid 20:38, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- BTW, do you want your user page restored to the way it was before May 8? Now you can do so. 22:46, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Your RFA
I'm going to close your RFA and delete it if that's ok with you, way too soon after this situation, I know you want forgiveness but that's not the way to do it and your RFA is unlikely to succeed. Try Wikipedia:Editor review first. Thanks Jaranda wat's sup 19:30, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
You have a lot of nerve to nominate yourself for adminship two hours after effectively being pardoned from a community ban. No more disruptive stunts. Please. — Jul. 7, '06 [19:59] <freak|talk>
- Oh my goodness. I meant to make comments about the possibility for adminship earlier today, but got distracted by other things. Now I really wish I had done so. You are currently in a "last chance" situation, with quite a few admins watching carefully, ready to drop the hatchet if you screw up again. In one of my comments on the admin noticeboard I said that if you vandalize again, you are done. By that I meant that it is my intention if that happens to seek a community ban. For the last few months you've been a blocked user. Screw up again, and you will be a banned user. Banned users do not get more chances. And banned users get blocked on sight if they are discovered returned in new accounts.
- That said, there is the issue of adminship. I'm sorry, but you have a long, long, long road ahead of you before you have even the slightest chance of passing an RFA. You have squandered any trust you had with the community here. You have shown yourself prone to drastic actions when you get angry. And you think that someone prone that way is a good person to trust with the powers of an admin? Letting you back onto the project is one thing, but adminship is quite another. After all that has happened you are going to have to do a lot of trust building before you have a chance of earning adminship. Actually, there may never be enough trust possible for that.
- You are back as a user. Enjoy that fact, and put any thoughts of adminship away for now. For now, just return to making the project itself a better place. And if you want to fight vandals that badly, there are plenty of ways to do so without the block and rollback buttons. - TexasAndroid 20:18, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
No problem
The decision really was a no brainer, you are a great asset to the project. :) I'm not the first to say it, but I'll add my voice to the chorus, welcome back! :) - FrancisTyers · 19:47, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
I'm sorry
I had to oppose you, please see your RFA, for the reasons why. NOVO-REI 19:51, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- I also think someone should add an RfC or something to punish you for behavior. I am sorry, but must put in my own constructive criticism, after seeing your very violent nature. Your RfA, was also closed. NOVO-REI 19:55, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- I don't really think RFC is the right way to go for this, RFC's doesn't really work anymore anyways and for something that happened twi months ago, it won't work, he needs one more chance. Jaranda wat's sup 21:02, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
My dear Juan
Dear Juan, it is a great pleasure to see you back. I was on wikibreak when the troubles first arose and thus unable to take part in them, but I have, myself, many times wanted to contact you and see how you were doing. As you see, I have taken the step of endorsing your unblock, because I know you have been an asset for a long, long time, and because you have been brave enough to recognize your faults.
You must be aware that now, every one's eyes will be on your every move. It is for this reason that, I beg you, move carefully and thoughtfully. Should you ever feel you are in the verge of taking a controversial step, please, come and visit me first, or contact me privately; I'll be extremely glad to help you and listen to you. You may have seen that I have made a personal compromise of watching your actions, and thus I'm risking my own image. It is something I'll gladly do for someone I called a friend for a long time.
I've seen that, in the couple of hours I've been away, you decided to be bold and nominated yourself at RfA. Hun, this is too soon, to say the least; please understand that your actions have undermined the trust the community has in you. I am completely sure that, in due time, you may achieve that goal, but the current circumstances are definitely not appropriate. I urge you to be patient, and resume your editing just in the fashion you so admirably did for more than a year, which is something I am absolutely sure you've sorely missed in these months. Now is the time to enjoy being back, and get involved again; but don't let impatience get the best of you. The RfA has been closed now, so please, let it go. There's so much you can do now - don't let it happen again. I'm counting on you, personally. I beg you, honor my trust in you. A great hug, and welcome back, your friend always, Phædriel ♥ tell me - 20:09, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- Well, sorry to edit here so many times, but I definately think some type of RfC or other list of vandalism related incidents should be seen by the community, and he should be made to confess those acts and address our Community at large. An RfC is the least that can be done, I would personally create it if I had the time. Addendum: I guess I am just so angry after seeing how he betrayed the trust of a community with such a good cause: creating an encyclopedia for the betterment of humankind. Encyclopedist, Juan, we CAN NOT let our personal temperments stay in the way of what is truly important here. That is why this case has generally attracted me so much. NOVO-REI 20:16, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- He served a two month block for his actions. He's being given a second chance, and has the eyes of quite s few admins watching him squarely. At this point I at least see no point in dredging through everything that occurred up to the block. I cannot stop you from filing an RFC, but I see little good that can come from such at this point. - TexasAndroid 20:22, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- I agree --rogerd 21:54, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Welcome back!
Juan-
As someone who has supported you in the past, I am glad to see you returning. You talk about permanently scarring your reputation on your user page. I don't think that the scarring is permanant, but it will take a while (i.e. months) to restore the trust that the community previously had in you. I echo Phaedriel's comments that you should go back to being the terrific contributor that you were, and we will see what develops. I too stand ready to help you with any difficulties that you may have. --rogerd 20:23, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Welcome back. I hope you can learn from this experience and continue to be a successful contributor. User:Zoe|(talk) 20:52, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
This was a little over the top, though, don't you think? User:Zoe|(talk) 20:57, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- This was put under my post, so I am not sure if this question is directed at me, but yes, I do think it is over the top. --rogerd 21:54, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- No, sorry, it was meant for Encyclopedist. User:Zoe|(talk) 23:43, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the star, Juan. I look forward to your writing again: it's been excellent, and I for one want to see some more of the same. Cheers, Antandrus (talk) 04:29, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- Welcome back :) --Oblivious 22:48, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
We have someting in common
Hay, I used to be a pretty big vandal/troll too, but have now reformed. It feels SOO much better to contribute positively, and I would like to congratulate you on taking that first step. Good luck. Nookdog 23:18, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
I apologize
I glanced over my comments after thinking about them, and I want to apologize for forgetting that you were an excellent contributor before you went haywire, and you have edited and been around for much more time than I have. I feel very bad about pursuing an RfC against you, from what I see, you have suffered enough....NOVO-REI 01:19, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- May I borrow some of your webpage style etc.? You also decorate well. NOVO-REI 01:23, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- YAH! Your back! Let's no go haywire anymore, eh? — The King of Kings 23:13 July 08 '06
- I am sorry for not being into the project that much for the past days - I would like to clarify my RfA - I didn't expect it to win, I was trying to do something "symbolic." Thank you all for the welcome back messages - while I will not dissapoint you all, I want to make it clear that I may be occupied with other duties - so I may not come here for a long time.
To follow up on your comment on my talk page - I have no problem with you resuming editing Wikipedia. You asked me to restore your userpage, however, I see it has already been restored. Go and sin no more. Raul654 02:30, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

- Hi, images you find on websites are not public domain. The copyright belongs to the owner unless it's clearly stated otherwise. Thank. Ytny 05:12, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
Your userpage
You have a very creative userpage, but part of it may be religiously offensive to some. (It says that Wikipedia will become "more powerful than God." That's a real slap in the face to Christians, Jews, and Muslims.) --Gray Porpoise 00:56, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, lighten up. It's a joke. If that's the worst thing you can find on wikipedia, then you need to look harder. I can't speak for Encyclopedist, but I doubt that he meant anything offensive by it. Perhaps he was parodying the famous John Lennon quote. --rogerd 01:24, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:JimboPrinceofWales-1-.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:JimboPrinceofWales-1-.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Orphaned fair use image (Image:AntiqueMap.JPG)
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:AntiqueMap.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Ytny 09:36, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
Your history of Wikipedia
Greetings! I'm just stopping by to tell you that the history of the Wikipedia you relate on your user page has not been a "futile attempt to make (me) laugh". It's a great piece of original humour. You're a good man! Keep up the good work, cheers, Krankman 12:13, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
Languages
Hi There! Can you translate my name in what language you know please, and then post it Here. I would be very grateful if you do (if you know another language apart from English and the ones on my userpage please feel free to post it on) P.S. all th translations are in alpahbetical order so when you add one please put it in alpahbetical order according to the language. Thanks!!! Abdullah Geelah 16:01, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
I agree..
I agree that Wikipedia has some serious problems. But, I'm not sure that saying it's headed for the "facist drain" on your RFA nom was wise. I am curious why you'd say that though- have you written any thoughts explaining your position here? Friday (talk) 17:40, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

If you need to take some time off to cool down, please do so. I've blocked you for one hour to prevent further remarks like this one. Really, you can do useful work here but you absolutely have to calm down. Friday (talk) 18:11, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Fuck it
Wikipedia is Fascism, I would be better without it and it would be better without me. The admin request was a farce, I am just pissing people off to see how it feels, and letting us know that I have no place here. I have another account which I have made extensive numbers of construtive edits on, including an FA. I refuse to disclose this account or the information I have been loading from it - but let's just say its record is much better cause I don't interact with people on it. Wikipedia is not a productive place, I am no longer a productive editor. I would like to request my real name not be used as a future note. Aside from that, I say "fuck it."
