Fair use rationale for Image:Twiki3.jpg
[edit]Image:Twiki3.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Pronunciation
[edit]Why is the pronunciation of his name not given until over halfway through the description? RedAugust 07:42, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- It's because the article is written by several hundred people, of varying levels of competence, over a period of severeal years. Some of them are rubbish but enthusiastic, some are intelligent but wrong, some of them are Scientologists, and some of them are actively malicious. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 10:55, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Proposed merge with Buck Rogers in the 25th Century
[edit]Characters can be merged. DGG ( talk ) 04:50, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
- I suggest the character be merged to Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (TV series)Dwanyewest (talk) 06:19, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose - The Twiki character is significant enough to have its own article. The Twiki article does need to have verifiable references added, though. That's a topic for another discussion, and not relevant to this discussion on merging. Truthanado (talk) 12:34, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
- Support - The article doesn't show how the character is notable. Sure, it gives some pop culture references, but most of these are fairly minor. – Bellum (talk) (contribs) 18:28, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
Twiki (robot) redirect.
[edit]There is a Twiki (robot) page redirecting to Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (TV series). Over a year ago, I changed the double redirect link on this disambiguation page to link directly to the Buck Rogers article. This was reverted in the last few days by a non-logged in user, quoting MOS:DABREDIR "Where redirecting may be appropriate".
My interpretation is that this would only apply if the redirect points to a section specifically about the subject i.e.Twiki The Buck Rogers article has no such section. I merely want to say "are you sure?" to the reverting editor, but as they have no appropriate talk page, I am going to revert the change. Periglio (talk) 16:18, 13 November 2017 (UTC)
