Pakistanis form the fourth largest South Asian immigrant group in Finland after Afghans, Indians and Nepalis.

History

In 1971 around 100 Pakistanis came to Finland for jobs. Finland didn't want cheap labour so they turned them all down.[2] As of the 31st December 2018 there are 3,736 people of Pakistani heritage living in Finland today, 3,065 of these people are born in Pakistan.[3]

Society

A Pakistani man in Vantaa was stabbed by three Finns. The police does not think that it was a racist attack.[4]
