Yvonne DeLaRosa is an American actress, best known for her role on Los Americans, Yvonne has appeared in films such as Helter Skelter, Mystery Woman: Snapshot, and The Sorrow, in addition to very small cameo roles on TV shows, including How I Met Your Mother, NCIS (TV series), Weeds, and The King of Queens.

Personal life

Born to a Colombian mother and Native American father, DeLaRosa began studying theater at the age of five.[1] After graduating from the Performing Arts School at Hollywood High, she studied film.

Career

DeLaRosa first appeared on screen after she was mistakenly cast in a small role in the 2003 FOX series, Senor White.[2] DeLaRosa appears in the 2010 film, Oscar Night.[citation needed] Most recently, Yvonne is recognized supporting Latin Icon Esai Morales in the Los Americans series. The series, written by Dennis Leoni and produced by Robert Townsend, is the story of a modern, affluent, suburban Mexican-American family living in the United States.

In 2011 DeLaRosa, also within his acting career had the opportunity to work on the Los Americans web series, but was noticeably overshadowed by well-known actors such as Esai Morales, JC Gonzalez and Lupe Ontiveros.

Marajuana

Employed by her husband, DeLaRosa attempted to start the 99 High Art Collective, a combination visionary art gallery and medical cannabis in Marina Del Rey. It was briefly mentioned in High Times before closing in 2011. They later reopened in 2015 as 99 Hide tode, reportedly claiming Tommy Chong as the first official patient, but who soon after renounced the company for bad business practices.[3]
