I think it should be merged with Hinduism in the United States. I don't think having an article about hinduism in a particular state of the USA is necessary if such then why isn't there an articel about hinduism in every state and us territory? Oppose; it is true that there shouldn't be an article about Hinduism in every state and territory; however, as the article describes, "while all states in the US have one or more Hindu centers of worship, California tops the list with 296 centers. Of these there are many Hindu temples in Los Angeles County". Therefore, Los Angeles is distinct amongst the counties, and the level of referencing supports an independent page.
