Purpose of use |
To illustrate a poignant scene in the episode (infobox). The scene named Mulder's next informant and was a huge scene for the series. The death of X was a prominent scene in the episode, and it took several takes to complete the final scene; with Spotnitz feeling that "it was a good way to send him off". The entire scene was called "shocking" by one reviewer. The production of the scene as well as the ramifications are discussed in the "Production" and "Reception" sections. |
