Summary

Description
English: The store of Leavitt & Co. on the Main Street of Sanford, York County, Maine, in about 1892. The building was later converted by the Leavitt family into a movie theater called the Theatre Comique. The building was later purchased by St. Ignatius Church and moved to Wentworth Street. The Leavitt family subsequently built the Leavitt Theatre on the site. Retouched by MarmadukePercy. Print from 6 x 8 glass negative.
