Bahasa Indonesia: Anggota Komisi IX Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat atau DPR RI Nurhayati Effendi menilai perlu adanya perbaikan untuk Undang-Undang atau UU soal Perwakinan di Indonesia. Nurhayati sapaannya menegaskan perbaikan atau revisi di UU Perkawinan diperlukan agar para laki-laki tidak bisa sesuka hati terhadap perempuan. Demikian hal itu disampaikan Nurhayati sapaanya menanggapi kasus kekerasaan dalam rumah tangga atau KDRT yang dialami Mega Suryani Dewi (24) di Kabupaten Bekasi, Cikarang, Jawa Barat. Mega sendiri mengalami KDRT dari suaminya bernama Nando (24) hingga tewas terbunuh.
English: Member of Commission IX of the House of Representatives or DPR RI Nurhayati Effendi considered that there should be improvements to the Law or Law on Perwakinan in Indonesia. Nurhayati said that improvements or revisions in the Marriage Law are needed so that men cannot please women. Thus, it was conveyed by Nurhayati in response to domestic violence cases or domestic violence experienced by Mega Suryani Dewi (24) in Bekasi Regency, Cikarang, West Java. Mega himself experienced domestic violence from her husband named Nando (24) until he was killed.
