TAMIL LACEWING (Cethosia nietneri )
Another butterfly endemic to westernghats and srilanka
the butterfly lays egg in groups later emerges feeds moults pupates and ecloses together
atleast a dozen batches of eggs or young caterpillars sighted
this must be the first brood of the season
the butterfly is seen at the onset of monsoon,and usually disappears by september october
