Summary
DescriptionVitruve toulousain (1).jpg |

This second French version of the Vitruvius' treatise, and the fourth work in France to use the technique of intaglio engraving, this edition demonstrates the ambition and limitations of the Toulouse printing during the Renaissance era, grappling with challenging image insertions within the text. The unfinished project uniquely aimed to present an illustrated, summarized, and partially annotated text to make its content more accessible to artisans.
