Rollback granted

Hi 0xDeadbeef. After reviewing your request, I have temporarily enabled rollback on your account until 2022-06-30. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~TNT (talk • she/her) 12:18, 30 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to ping me (or just make another PERM request) when you're nearing the end of the temporary grant ~TNT (talk • she/her) 12:19, 30 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi 0xDeadbeef. I deleted some singles and an album from the Fireman page because such content is not credited to the Fireman at all. And so that content must not be cited in the Fireman page, it creates misinformation. Let's remove it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2a02:120b:c3d3:29c0:f508:ab0f:fc63:1406 (talk) 15:47, 30 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @2a02:120b:c3d3:29c0:f508:ab0f:fc63:1406: You can include a source which will show which singles and albums are credited in your edit summary. The problem is not removing content, is removing content without explaining why. That being said, welcome to Wikipedia! You can sign your comments using four tildes: ~~~~ at the end of your message. I will leave some information on your talk page. 0xDEADBEEF (T C) 15:59, 30 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

Vandalism

Please fix the mess at Jayda Fransen yourself, partly due to you. I have already filed a request at WP:RfPP. Mathsci (talk) 11:48, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Mathsci: I wanted to remind you to warn these users when they make vandalism edits. That IP user seems to be blocked now. 0xDEADBEEF (T C) 11:54, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This is currently being handled by administrators. You have no previous experience of that article[1] which is on the watchlist of numerous editors (mostly from the UK for obvious reasons). Thanks, Mathsci (talk) 12:21, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Mathsci: You have no previous experience of that article: What are you trying to say? Please read WP:RVAN on how to respond to vandals. I don't have to have previously edited on that article before to tell you to put warnings on vandals' talk pages please, Thank you. 0xDEADBEEF (T C) 12:30, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
WP:DTTR. My request at WP:RfPP was granted – the page has been semi-protected for one week by Malcolmx15, a UK administrator. Please don't ping me again. Thanks, Mathsci (talk) 12:47, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page watcher) @Mathsci: I don't think 0xDeadbeef meant anything untoward when they reminded you to leave warnings — although they aren't required, sufficient warning is normally a prerequisite for administrative intervention. On the note of WP:DTTR, there's another opinion at WP:TTR which is worth reading too, though I'll agree a templated message is a little impersonal TNT (talk • she/her) 13:01, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I recognize you as the neutral !voter at Tamzin ... my lips are sealed. This is the first time I've made a WP:RfPP recently and for the reasons given, i.e. aflurry of IP/IPv6 edits combined with ongoing election time (even for you I assume).
