Argentina berths

[edit]

@CodeMars04: Can you check if this is correct according to the regulations [1]?

@Chanheigeorge: If Boca Juniors win the Copa Libertadores, the Argentina 3 berth will still go to the Copa Argentina champions (which might be River Plate), and San Lorenzo will be Argentina 4, as it stood since the moment the league season ended. According to the Article 7.7. a) in the regulations, and since Boca are already qualified for the Copa Libertadores as league champions, the extra berth will indeed go to Independiente as the next best-placed team. The scenario in case of a River win is correct, though, and the only change will be that the teams that are currently qualified plus the Copa Argentina champions will qualify through a lower berth since River will be Argentina 1. Also there's a chance for another group stage berth to be opened up, which would be taken by Defensa y Justicia should they win the Copa Sudamericana.
