The result of the move request was: Not moved. Please note that the Google searches are two-faced, because some hits under each string are for the opposite order. Even so it appears that the Yankees are usually listed first for the hits in Google Books and when -wikipedia is used to exclude material copied from Wikipedia. Oppose WP:COMMONNAME advises to use the name commonly used by sources. The proposal to use an alphabetical order is purely arbitrary—an WP:ILIKEIT-type argument. A search of Google Books, as advised by WP:COMMONNAME, shows 1,240 hits for "yankees–red sox rivalry" and 667 hits for "red sox–yankees rivalry"—Bagumba (talk) 22:23, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

2021 Wild Card

Why not include score of the 2021 wild card game? - 212.164.64.208 (talk) 14:11, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It’s standard practice to not include this because it is a single game and not a series of games. Including the score is very likely to confuse readers due to it being runs in an individual game rather than games in a series. Carson Wentz (talk) 19:08, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
