Lord Chaitanya did preach the Maha mantra.

[edit]

I seen you editing the Maha Mantra page. Lord Chaitanya did infact preach the Mahamantra. You can easily enough infer that from CC Madhya-Lila 6.242: harer nāma harer nāma harer nāmaiva kevalam kalau nāsty eva nāsty eva nāsty eva gatir anyathā

However, he also mentions it in other texts as well. The Chaitanya Bhagavata he mentions it directly, fully by name, several times. Chaitanya Bhagavata in Adi-Lila 14.145-146(Verse 144 is the same mantra given in CC Madhya-Lila 6.242 as well) hare krsna hare krsna krsna krsna hare hare, hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare. ei sloka nama bali' laya mahamantra, sola-nama batrisa-aksara ei tantra.

This consists of sixteen names of the Supreme Lord with thirty two syllables: Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TrivikramaDas108 (talkcontribs) 01:17, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
