- We worked with 33 courses at 22 universities in the spring 2011 term.
- Students were supported on campus by 54 Campus Ambassadors.
- Students were supported virtually by 91 Online Ambassadors.
- The Ambassador Steering Committee is a volunteer-driven committee working to ensure the Wikipedia Ambassador Program continues.

[edit]This WikiProject is for collaborating on Wikipedia's coverage of United States public policy. It's also part of the Wikimedia Foundation's Public Policy Initiative, a project aimed at finding better ways to recruit experts and students to help improve Wikipedia content. This WikiProject was created On June 22, 2011 and went defunct on October 1st, 2014.

Wikipedia Ambassadors
[edit]Please join us! The Public Policy Team has developed a volunteer system for Wikipedians who want to help new users and students. The Wikipedia Online Ambassadors work with students on-wiki, through email, and by IRC, whereas Wikipedia Campus Ambassadors introduce students and professors to the basics of Wikipedia and help out with courses in person.
