assumptive (comparative more assumptive, superlative most assumptive)

  1. Held as true or valid without evidence.
  2. Forward or presumptuous.
  3. (heraldry, of arms, not comparable) Originally, being arms which a person had a right to assume, in consequence of an exploit; now, those assumed without sanction of the Heralds' College.[1]
