Colonel Hansen
Colonel Hansen (Japanese: ハンゾウ Hanzō) is a minor recurring character in Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire. He appeared in The Princess and the Togepi and A Togepi Mirage!. He is a crooked Mirage Kingdom official who seeks to take over the kingdom by force.
History
Hansen enlisted the help of Team Rocket to kidnap Togepi from Misty. After he was crowned and sent the king and queen to the dungeon, it didn't take long for Hansen to relieve Team Rocket from their duties and send them blasting off. Due to his impure heart, Hansen's rule over the Mirage Kingdom began to destroy the Togepi Paradise.
In response to this, Ash, Misty, May, Max, Brock, Miranda, and Princess Sara fought back against him with Togepi, who by that point had evolved into Togetic; the group was covertly assisted by Team Rocket, who was vengeful from their betrayal. Even with the help of his Pokémon, Hansen ended up losing to the group, after which he was dethroned and put into the dungeon for his crime of high treason.

Shedinja is Hansen's main Pokémon. With its strong defense it was easily able to withstand Misty's Corsola's Spike Cannon, but it was eventually defeated by Misty's Gyarados's Flamethrower.
Shedinja's only known move is Solar Beam, and its Ability is Wonder Guard.

These two Ninjask were Hansen's secondary battling Pokémon. Being very fast and notably strong they were able to stand on their own until they got defeated by May's Torchic and Ash's Pikachu.
Ninjask's known moves are Shadow Ball, Double Team, Dig, and Hyper Beam.

Hansen possessed Misty's Togepi only for a short period of time after he used his Ninjask to knock it out while Misty, Ash, his friends, Miranda and Sara were trapped in the Togepi Paradise. He used it to gain the throne of Mirage Kingdom and attempted to use its Metronome to open the gate to Togepi Paradise, but was interrupted by Ash and the others. Several Togepi from the Paradise began to arrive and gave Misty's Togepi power to wake up and evolve into Togetic.
