The Holm of Trials (Japanese: 試練の中州 Sandbank of Trials) is an area located in the southern region of the Crimson Mirelands of Hisui. It is across the river south of Gapejaw Bog and Sludge Mound.
Geography
The Holm of Trials part of a large island that sits along the eastern shore of Hisui. A river that flows from the north splits into two streams that create natural borders for the island, separating the Holm of Trials from the mainland. The area itself is primarily flatland, with a mountainous region bordering the southern edge of the island. The local environment is like that of a bog, similarly to the Gapejaw Bog. Thin and rounded pools of water mark the surface of most of the area. Golden fields of grains are interspersed between these pools and trees. A slight depression in the western section gives the land more depth
