A Viscountess (Japanese: ヴァイカウンテス Viscountess) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that debuted in Generation VI. This Trainer class is a title of nobility, granted in the Battle Chateau, and Trainers with this class only appear there. Viscountess is the second lowest rank of nobility for females, ranking above Baroness and below Countess. Its counterpart for males is Viscount.

The female player character may earn the title of Viscountess by winning enough battles in the Battle Chateau. All opponent Viscountesses use parties of one Pokémon at level 20 (if no Writ of Challenge is active).
