Motivation

edit

biomedcentral.com (Q130266220) is the official website of the academic publisher BioMed Central (Q463494), containing information about scientific publications. There should be more than 370 IDs for journals, at least for what concerns the ones currently covered on Wikidata. --Horcrux (talk) 13:44, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

 Support Good proposal! It can't be official website (P856), because here is another link to this journal in Springer . Biomedcentral is an established source, even for me as an IT manager. --David Osipov (talk) 12:26, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

 Comment There is already a mix&match catalog created: 1120 Gerwoman (talk) 17:32, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, as reported by @Magnus Manske, these identifiers appear to be alphanumeric, whereas the catalog IDs are numeric. We should change the catalog or the property. Anyway, the web page has an "internal" numeric value, for example:

::<a href="//advancesinsimulation.biomedcentral.com" ::<class="u-ml-8" data-test="click-journal-Advances in Simulation">Advances in Simulation ::
Gerwoman (talk) 09:33, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
