@Jopparn I am not sure what the context of your question is.
While I've done this in a personal capacity or professional development, I haven't done it related to the wikis.
There is substantive work that was piloted by @Ijon / @Asaf (not sure which is the right handle here) so I'm sure he has tons of insight on this. You can see some of it here:

Ha, it was created to provide me with a copy of what Kate is using in her onboarding process, as I gather different things around how people use onboarding checklists. Does that answer your question?

@Aklapper not sure what you mean. Maybe @kzimmerman can help. This was jsut a copy/paste from one of the tasks she had and adjusts to onboard people on her team.
@Aklapper FYI this was created/shared as an example of how Phabricator can be useful in onboarding processes.
Thank you @kzimmerman this is super useful !

Ping me when you need more info. I'm probably not the best placed to help, but I'll wait for your question to connect you with the right people :)

I have the loop. On both my accounts (two different Chrome sessions, one for my volunteer account, one for my WMF account). Chrome, under Linux Mint: Version 73.0.3683.86 (Build officiel) (64 bits)
I'm not sure how to start a new session altogether, I probably should uncheck the "save browser state" somewhere, I guess. Just wanted to report that this happens on Chrome too.

Hello @colewhite!
Sooooo, this is a bit confusing, because I could not create a name with "wmf" in it :)

I believe these questions or some that sound very much like them are being asked of the Wikimedia Conference participants. We might want to coordinate with WMDE on this, as well as with any other affiliate/entity doing technical events (there are a number of local hackathons/ developers meetings in the works all over the world). Pinging @CorneliusKibelka_WMDE to see if he has interest. . Also, wondering if we could actually expand this to non-technical events.

Almost. This is a bit complicated because of stupid naming issues. [edit: stupid naming issues on our part, ie. we have no good names for these processes]
#Annual-Plan-Grants is a top level project
Annual-Plan-Grants-FDC is a subproject of #Annual-Plan-Grants

Hello. APG and FDC are different things, but APG is the "umbrella" project. the FDC is a committee that makes decisions for part of the Annual Plan Grants process, the other part are simple Annual Plan Grants (yeah, I know, naming is a Wikimedia plague ;)). In any case. There is little "project material" thing to the FDC, since it's a committee. In my case, its name is used to differentiate two processes, one that has the FDC as deciding committee, the other one that has a simple APG committee as the deciding committee So to be super accurate, we'd need to have the following:
#Annual-Plan-Grants, #Funds-Dissemination-Committee (this would have the only project elements pertaining to the FDC, such as (s)election milestones etc. which might be a good idea anyway). #simple-Annual-Plan-Grants-committee
As a sub-project of #Annual-Plan-Grants, you'd have Annual-Plan-Grants-FDC and #Annual-Plan-Grants-simple for example. At this stage, I am only responsible for the FDC bit of that process, so I don't need anything pertaining to simple. Also, a lot of the milestones/tasks pertaining to the Annual-Plan-Grants-FDC process would not pertain to the project #Funds-Dissemination-Committee, since they do not involve the committee at all. Does that make sense?

Project description: This is a project that will outline the process, tasks and milestones associated with the Annual Plan Grants FDC Process. More information about Annual Plan Grants/ Funds Dissemination Committee can be found on the relevant page on meta. The most important milestones are outlined on the APG Calendar.

Hello, I will be pointing the APG organizations to this task. There are a few of them who already collaborate with translation schools for example, so this might be an interesting task for them to take up.

At this stage why don't you put wolliff [AT] wikimedia.org?
